Precision optics technician with at least seven years experience in all the processes required to fabricate, polish and produce precision optics to the required specifications.
Requirements:
1. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced production environment and prioritize daily workflow to optimize output
2. Maintain organized and clean work area
3. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Desired Skills and Experience:
1. Lapping and polishing of glass and crystal substrates
2. Run conventional spindles as well as continuous and double-sided polishers
3. Optical contacting
4. Clean and inspect optics before and after coating
5. Make required test plates as needed
6. Experience in metrology of high precision optics
7. Mathematical background sufficient to achieve above
