Nova Phase was founded in 1999 by Dr. Mike Scripsick (formerly Director R&D, Crystal Associates, Inc.), Mr. Paul Melone (formerly Supervisor Nonlinear Optics, Crystal Associates, Inc.), Mr. Alex Cable (President, ThorLabs, Inc.), and Mr. Steve Rotyliano (V.P. Engineering, ThorLabs, Inc.). In 2001, Dr. Barry Wechsler (formerly Senior Scientist, Crystal Associates and Senior Staff Physicist, Hughes Research Laboratories) joined Nova Phase to direct the crystal growth efforts at Nova Phase. The unique combination of talents and demonstrated expertise of Nova Phase principals and employees combined with our fully equipped modern facilities located in Newton, NJ, enable Nova Phase to quickly respond to our customers' traditional manufacturing and forefront development needs.
